Inspired by the Galápagos islands, this 2-minute atmospheric-instrumental piece is thickly textured and evokes the sounds of the deep sea and volcanic island.

The ocean drum is used for setting atmosphere in ‘Galápagos’ with crashing waves accompanying thick and thin textures, and deep chords played with harp, piano and timpani. The tonality moves between F minor, Ab major, Bb minor and C major.
A resonant pitch frequents the music, and is performed with wine glasses set to the pitches of A, Ab, B, Bb, C, G. However, this recording uses a virtual instrument flute as it is similar in sound.
